It's late afternoon, and the sun is coming out following a shower. We have our first glimpse of Ho Hoan Kiem (Lake of the Restored Sword), which is a focal point for the residents of the City. A 15th century legend says that a giant Golden Turtle living in the lake gave a magic sword to Emperor Le Loi, who fought against the Chinese and won.
